A.L.T.A.R. is an acronym for: Always Lead Them Appropriately, Respectfully Our responsibility at the ALTAR Ministry is to provide a comfortable, secure atmosphere by conveying a pleasant demeanor and a professional appearance to seek to discover the person’s need with gentleness, tact and respect. We are to be specific when praying with an individual who has responded to the invitation given. We are prepared to lead someone to Christ by using the four components of evangelism.
Admit: One must agree with the Bible that says “all have sinned,” We all were born sinners.
Believe: One must believe that Christ is the Son of God and the only one who can forgive and save sinners.
Repent: One must be sorry for their sins and willing to surrender their life to Christ.
Receive: One must receive Christ as Lord of their life by praying for God to accept them.
New Covenant Fellowship has a benevolence fund which offers assistance to church members who are without resources or immediate ability to pay bills that are essential to the basic necessities of life.
Campus Connection Ministry
The search for connecting has been a part of the campus life for years. Students connect themselves to friends, fraternities, sororities, fashions, sports, and media which oftentimes never lead to connecting or staying connected to Jesus Christ. Our purpose originates from Ephesians 2:8-10
For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.” Our purpose is to connect college students to God and the church through weekly Bible study, sharing the gospel message, missions, activities, and events. Our staff and volunteers are encouraged to build relationships with every student to ensure Christ love is shown. Students are invited to enter into a relationship with Jesus that is personal and is characterized by faith, obedience, and commitment.
The Children’s Ministry supports and encourages parents in their mandate to bring up their children daily in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. We do this by providing age appropriate teaching of the Bible to boys and girls in order to evangelize them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Word of God. New Covenant Fellowship Church children’s programs are spiritually uplifting, fun, and designed to help children learn more about the Bible and how it applies to their everyday life.
Deaf Ministry at New Covenant Fellowship Church exists in order to provide access for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing communities to the Word of God. With that in mind, all worship services are interpreted for the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing.
Food For The Needy

Our Men’s Ministry seeks to live out our church’s vision which is to: Show men Christ; Grow men in Christ and Glorify God. Every second Saturday we meet at 9am for breakfast, fellowship and study of the Word around topics that encourage, enlighten and empower men. We model 1 Corinthians 13:13-14 that says,
“Be on the alert, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
We are all missionaries. Some of us are in other countries teaching, preaching, and planting churches. Some of us are missionaries in the marketplace, right here in Chattanooga, often the only light in a world of darkness. The Missions Ministry of New Covenant Fellowship serves the body of the church by challenging to give, go, and pray. Conferences, classes, and publications are used to inform the body of mission needs. The Missions Ministry also serves to identify mission agencies, projects, and missionaries that God would have us to partner with in ministry.
The New Covenant Fellowship Multimedia Ministry is responsible for taping Sunday morning praise and worship services; making CD copies of the sermon and music available to members and visitors immediately after service. The Ministry’s mission makes it possible for attendees to share the teachings of Pastor Miller and spread the word of God. It also helps volunteers or anyone who may have missed the service to listen later. Many of our members listen to their CD’s throughout the week for spiritual uplifting and also pass them along to family members and friends. The Multimedia Ministry is a wonderful tool with endless potential to reach out and bless others.
The New Covenant Fellowship Music Ministry creates the atmosphere to receive the preached Word of God on Sundays. We do so by combining gospel with contemporary and praise and worship songs. Our Music Ministry also develops members with musical and singing abilities for our children’s, youth, college and adult praise teams and band.
The New Covenant Fellowship Nursery Ministry ministers to babies from 6 weeks to 2 years old. The nursery is open on Sunday mornings starting at 10AM and Wednesday evening starting at 6:30 PM. We sing songs, play music, read Bible stories and do our best to keep the babies happy.

The New Covenant Fellowship Prayer Ministry exists to lift up the needs of the congregation to the throne of God through prayer. We receive and distribute prayer concerns primarily through emails. We also minister to the congregation through cards, hospital and home visits and phone calls.
The New Covenant Fellowship Van Ministry provides needed transportation to Sunday worship services, Wednesday night Bible study and other church related events.
During the morning service the Welcome Ministry is responsible for providing the formal greeting to visitors and recognizing individuals celebrating a birthday, wedding anniversary or the anniversary for when they accepted Christ. In addition, we encourage people to find at least three other people to introduce themselves as part of the fellowship period. Our primary goal is to glorify God as we deliver the Welcome and to thank people for coming to worship at NCF. We maintain a positive attitude during our delivery with the goal of helping people to feel welcomed as they worship with NCF.
The goal of the New Covenant Fellowship Women’s Ministry is to encourage and equip women to live sober, righteous, and holy lives with a zeal for good works. This is done through regular monthly meetings that include fellowship, Bible study, and a variety of activities.
The search for identity has puzzled young people for years because they look in all the wrong places. Defining themselves by friends, fashions, sports, and media creates a life of mistaken identity. Our purpose originates from Ephesians 2:8-10 “ For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Our purpose is to connect youth to God through weekly Bible study, sharing the gospel message, missions, fun games, activities, and events. Our staff and volunteers are encouraged to build relationships with every youth to ensure Christ’s love is shown. Youth are invited to enter into a relationship with Jesus that is personal and is characterized by faith, obedience, and commitment.
